 8) So, I was wondering what any dude has to say on the current state of Dudeism. As far as I can tell there's an ever increasing world of practicing dudeists worldwide. That's just like my opinion, man.

Thoughts, fellow dudes?

The Hells Angels have a saying that "the patch does not make the man. The man makes the patch."
Now I'm not praising the Angels but it strikes me as similar.
Sonny Barger once explained that they don't make a person an Angel.
They just discover those who are. By nature.
That there are those guys who right from the time that they were little Dudes just "spit the bit".
They don't buy into the BS.

It strikes me that there is a similar streak at the core of Dudes.
An instinct toward peace of mind above other things.
Toward Abiding.
In a way sort of the "Anti Angel".
He wouldn't have a territory or a patch that he'd fight for.
In fact he'd avoid it.
He is not prideful.

I guess that what I saying is that there have always been Dudes, whether there was a Dudeism or not.
And there will always be Dudes.
And what would be more Dude than not practicing shit?

Out here we are all his children
