...for my cousin whom I love dearly.  He married his pregnant girlfriend who at the tender age of almost 40 and my cousin at the tender age of 50 exchanged vows this weekend past.  Now, I understand that this pregnancy probably came as a "surprise" to both of them, hell, I would probably already be in Tibet by now if my girlfriend told me, at 49 years of age, that she was pregnant, BUT...I don't know if she was just having a bad day, was uncomfortable, or not in the mood, but man was she unhappy!  I don't think I have ever seen anyone so miserable at their own wedding, and believe me, I've been to more than a few.  She stopped a couple times while saying her vows before continuing and I honestly thought she was gonna walk away and say "forget it".   I hope she was just having an off day and hate to think that my cousin is in for a really rough time, besides the whole waking up in the middle of the night to take care of a new baby part.  Hell, I just got a puppy and that's hard enough.  I wouldn't entertain the thought of going through the baby stage again...I have kids that I've raised and am glad I'm DONE.
Fortunately, I'm adhering to a pretty strict, uh, drug, uh, regimen to keep my mind, you know, uh, limber

Whew, that shit sounds awkward. But everyone is on their own path. Maybe she was reconciling herself to the life in which she found herself. Maybe her emotions just got the best of her. In my experience, the wedding is the chick's day and the dude is just trying to make it through the round. I wish her/them the best, though.
