Hey Guys

So, I'm a musician (six-string trance wonder, bass, piano and banjo), and I'm also training in the dudely art of music production. I was thinking, there's gotta be a whole bunch of dudeist musicians and songwriters out there, and I was thinking maybe we could like, you know, collaborate or something?

I have this idea to record an album of dudely music. Each song would have a different combination of people on it. Home recording equipment is fairly cheap and easy to come by, and most musicians I know who are semi-skilled own at least a decent microphone. We could kick around ideas, get some songs together and get each person to record their bit and send it over so I could do the production and mixing and all that.

At the end, we could release it for free. Or maybe at a super low price and donate the profits to a dudely cause.

Would love to hear people's thoughts on it. Also, I apologise if someone has already suggested this before...
