Dudeism @ Burning Man 2016

Hey man.. are you a follower of The Dude? Are your feet pointed towards Burning Man this year? This group is an attempt to see how many are both! Join if you're interested in being part of a Dudeist Theme Camp at Burning Man 2016! )"(

We're talking about a 'tongue-in-cheekiness' is next to godliness theme camp (a subset of a Village.. see BurningMan(dot)com for detailed info.  Probably a 10' x 30' tent "Temple" complete with carpets (to tie it all together) free bar (serving White Russians, what else?) and Temple seating from which we can regal each other with tales of adventure, bowling scores, etc.

Nothing can be or will be sold at BM.. but I'm certain it will drive hits to Dudism.com.

It was very much on my bucket list for a long time.
We had friends who went and didn't dig it.
But they were as they say "virgins".
A lot of first timers apparently have a rough time.
From them I mostly heard about bugs, dust and general discomfort.
But none of us are very young.
If I was young 2 words would probably hold pretty serious sway.
"Orgy Tent" which I guess is a thing at Burning Man.

Ya, seen pics of the orgy tent.  Also, someone I knew back in Calgary who went to BM participated in something called "The Great Canadian Beaver Eating Contest".  It's exactly what you think it is...  He won first place.

It's a shame your friends didn't have a good time.. and yes, it is a bit much for the noobie.
However.. bugs? what bugs? NOTHING lives on the playa (too alkaline) and tho there was a 'bug scare' last year, by the time of Burning Man, they were gone.
The playa is referred to as "trying to kill you" but its all tongue in cheek. Its warm during the day, can be cold at night and the wind is strong at times.
BUT from a Dudeist point of view, it represents challenges we meet every day; read the website's suggestion pages SERIOUSLY and you should have no problems.
As for the orgy tent.. hey man, pitch your pole.   There's a  sexual 'vibe' to all of BM, but out and out sex/orgy/humping/etc. is rare and takes place in private settings.
If you went to any place for a week with 70,000 people, SOMEONE's going to be getting it on, right?
