I hate the fucking Eagles (well, except for their song Hotel California), but this is still a bummer.  In less than a month we've lost Lemmy, Bowie, and Frey; makes ya' wonder who's next.
I don't go to church on Sunday
Don't get on my knees to pray
Don't memorize the books of the Bible
I got my own special way

This whole month has been a real bummer....  Lemmy, Bowie, Alan Rickman, one of the Original TV dudes (Dan Haggerty) now Frey.  These were men for their time and place and will be missed.

Yeah this has been a bummer month for sure.
Lotta real Dudes have passed.
You have to admire Glen Frey even if the Dude didn't dig his style.

Out here we are all his children

I have to admit, I like the Fuckin' eagles! Tis a bummer fer sure, though. A shirt I saw in an ad said " I may be old, but at least I got to see all the good bands!" I hate to say it, but the recently dudeparted, won't be the last.

Dale Griffin, the drummer and co-founder of Mott the Hoople, died at the age of 67.  He'd been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease a decade ago.  The group's biggest hit, "All the Young Dudes", was written and produced by David Bowie.  Jesus, man, they're dropping like flies.

I was always on the Pro-Eagle side of the schism. Loved their work, both together and individually. Glenn, man, he had that soul in his voice, though. Spoke to a whole wide land there between the two oceans. He's out there still. Somewhere on a corner in Winslow, Arizona. Such a fine sight to see.
