The Dead just finished their "Fare The well tour" this summer.
The last 3 shows "ever" where they made a reported 55 million bones or clams whatever you call them. Record setting ticket prices.
Of course they immediately started touring with "Dead And Company".
I'd have to be pissed if I was one of the people who paid many thousands of bucks for the best tickets.
All the remaining member minus Phil with John Mayer and Jeff Chimenti (Darkstar) on guitar. And former Allman Brothers Band memeber Otel Burbridge on Bass in Phil's place.
I wouldn't doubt that Phil will eventually come on board since he has also been playing with a new Dead outfit from time to time also with John Mayer on Guitar.

I have to admit they sound very good.
If you like the Dead.

It's like Lenin said..

They kept saying they believe in nothing.

Actually it goes deeper.
They had a back plan to do a documentary with Martin Scorsese.

One Hundred and fifteen thousand dollars for a ticket in the front row of the last show. And they turn around and go on tour again in less than 6 months.
Wow! Somebody must feel very stupid.
It's fucking hilarious.
These men are cowards Donnie.
