Trying to save money for a +$600 computer, the Dude's Westerly, and a $400 guitar. Too much money, not enough time.

BD, didn't know you played. What's yer style? I have a Strat, an old Tak (with the Fender-like headstock), and a cheapie bass I've been learning on lately. Turns out I love bass...

Man, i'd like more. I have an acoustic Maestro my G-Pa got me years back, and im just now learning it. Best two songs I know are Down On The Corner by good ol' CCR and One by Metallica. I want an electric. Badly.

I love bass, too. Been playing since the late '80's. Wanna find me a cheap keyboard so I can write and record some tunes.

Right on. I did play some keys back in the day, as long as there weren't too many black notes. ;-) Ya, I picked up bass cuz it hit me... so many songs are bass-centric, like Black Magic Woman, Hotel California... it's the bass line in tunes like that which always grabbed me. Heard of Tal Wilkenfeld? Plays bass for Jeff Beck. I sight to behold.

Style?
That assumes that I have style.
Well I'd say blues, classic rock country tinged stuff.
I'm working on getting some chops for finger style lately.
That has always eluded me because it takes discipline and practice.

I have now let's see.... 7 acoustics (Taylor, Ovation, 2 Washburns, A fender, a Guild, Oscar Schmidt).
And a strat with hotrodded pickups, a les paul, a tele deluxe, a couple of no name electrics.
And a room full of pedals and peddal boards and mixers and pa's, amps mics drums basses etc etc.
