ok, since last year I kinda dropped on college (art section), as I couldn't care less about art "vernissage" and expositions philosophy. this let me time to work on personnal project, at my own rythm, and get my mind together after a stupid story that I started by making a wrong choice.

that's when I checked about dudeism, and realised it's the way. I got to admit I don't play bowling often and I don't drink white russians while wearing a bathrobe, I'm more the pizza and grenadine syrup guy. but to me beeing dude is all about keeping myself relaxed and cool even when things are going wrong.

so as a kid one of my dreams was to become an animator (making 2D and 3D cartoons and films) so I checked a school where I could do that, and came to an interview with the director of the school. as always I was wearing a green shirt over a T-shirt, large jeans, and my overgrown undone red mohawk. at first I didn't knoww I should have wear something less casual, but she made a remark about it, then I just decided to keep it cool the whole interview, and I guess everything's went fine since I'm now on the list for next year 3D annimation students.

so yeah I just wanted to thank you all dudes, because you helped me getting out of the mess that was college

Are you me? Haha, but really, I've been wanting to work in animation for some time now, mainly 2D. I started drawing a lot more, and im getting better. I haven't drawn much original stuff, i've been practicing drawing some of the work of others. One of my favorite animators is Edmund McMillen, the guy who made Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Issac. Here are 2 of the drawings I made, the first one done on paper then colored in GIMP on my computer, the second I scribbled up at work last night.

But anyways, good luck as an animator, dude! Living the dream, if you ask me!

I don't know much about art. I liked that second drawring, though, Bubba. The one on the cocktail napkin.

Keep it rolling, Puck. Find your way or let the way find you. It's a zero-sum game when we tally score at the end of the night.
