The Two Dudeists

Howdy howdy fellow Dudes!  Just wanted to give everyone a head's up that myself and a fellow Dude are working on getting a Dudeism podcast going.  We will hopefully be recording our first episode sometime this week (depends on whether or not he's got the flu and how he feels), and publishing not long after that.

I will admit, I'm quite new to the Dudeist faith in name, but I do feel comfortable being a host as I've been trying to put a name to my Dude desires for some time now and plan on doing a lot of research into topics before I speak of them (even then, it's just my opinion most of the time, ya know?).  He has been a dude for several years now and seems to have a better grasp on being an abiding Dude than I do.

We plan on covering some of the more "dogmatic" things about Dudeism (like abiding and taking it easy), great dudes in history, reading from the Dude de Ching, and maybe even some advise here and there on how to abide in hard times (like, if you're like me, if you have a toddler who 's in a "no" stage).

Hopefully you guys approve of this, enjoy it, and maybe even join in from time to time (I think it'd be cool to get like, the Dudely Lama himself, or maybe even DB or meekon on the show).

If there's any advice, constructive criticism, ideas, or topics you guys and gals want to throw out there, please feel free.

I may take you up that just for my personal sanity one day lol

We've gotten at least part of episode 1 recorded, may redo it today, not entirely sure yet though.  Should be up early next week depending on the editing process.

I'd love it if dudeist parenting got it's own thread or convo going. I have an almost four year old son and my twin girls are about to turn one, and this past year has both challenged and required my abiding and taking 'er easy. I think it'd probably be very helpful to a lot of us to think about the dudeist alternative to the thousands of parenting books and opinions out there
