Abiding Apparel Sweaters

I just checked the site & saw the Large sizes are back in stock. I really planned on ordering one but had seen some posts elsewhere that the wool was really itchy. Anyone have one? Does the itchiness improve with wear or washing?

First, welcome to our little beach community! The bar's over there...uhh, somewhere. I don't have any experience with Abiding Apparel's sweaters, but I've been seriously thinking about getting one.

As for wool sweaters in general, as I understand it wool sweater "devotees" swear by simply wearing them to reduce itchyness; apparently, by doing so, you wear down the loose fibers that cause the itching. Also, I've read it's recommended to wash wool sweaters with shampoo and to treat them afterwards with the same type of conditioner you use on your hair; here's a link to one method: http://www.ehow.com/how_5024411_soften-wool-sweaters.html.

BTW Im a long time lurker (but not like the Jesus or anything!), I just rarely post. Im actually loving how the Dudeship has grown over the last few years!
