My only hypothesis is that soccer REALLY IS a cultural Trojan horse intended to emasculate America. I could take the little shorts, no-using-you-hands, low scores, even all the fake injuries. But, c'mon man, you can't boo the opposing team? What the hell? Is this a competitive sport or a tea party?* The only viable solution seems to be importing European soccer hooligans and yabbos who are, naturally, immune to this obscene gentrification.

Kind of like how Europe had to import Californian grape vines and graft them onto their natural vines to counter the Phylloxera epidemic. Well, expect in reverse...and this is soccer, not wine...and we really need English yabbos, not French versions...but other than that it's a pretty good analogy.







*Nothing against tea parties. I like tea. Oolongs especially. Very floral and refreshing.
