The Emmy-winning actor, star of TV classics Maverick and The Rockford Files, passed away Saturday at age 86.

DB's head is bowed. :'(

Yes shame really but he did make it to a decent age.

He was another one of those actors that you (I) didn't realise had gotten so old. Probably because of the continued repeating of his early stuff.

I read a great obit on JG. I forgot how deep his body of work was. Also, his recent interview quotes sounded like a man who knew how to abide.
Now, where's the emoticon for a standing ovation?
