I agree....as most here know I'm Anti-Theist, but I really tired of all the christian shit on the forum of late. I'm not here to hear about christian....don't even want think about them really.

And sorry, but I do Not find all these Christian Fails funny....not funny at all....I find them very sad.

I would also like to mention in posting things like this may seem basing them but all you are doing is waving their flag in our faces and promoting their dogma.
As long as they can keep everyone talking and thinking about the Christian religion....they win.

Actually, dudes and would be bible scholars; that passage of verse from Ezekiel she is reading is supposed to be God dude making an analogy of the Jewish people turning away from him and worshiping strange gods such as cows, and other shit as idols, thus making them, in God dude's mind, whores and sluts. Traditionally, in the bible, worshiping idols (aka, "false gods") is called adultery and being a whore.

Come on CC - we're not going to actively suppress all references to Christianity or discussions about that mythology any more than we'll suppress discussions about goddess worship on the Euphrates. You are more sensitive than most to this kind of blather, and mentions of Xianism get your goat, but unfortunately the broad prevalence of that belief system are all around us. It's going to come up from time to time.

I do agree that talking about the Bible and Jesus and their imaginary friends is tiresome however. But I think CC's reaction is a bit harsh.

I read in today Morning Call they are now promoting yet another Medical Marijuana bill into The PA Congress. The paper said there were no deep pockets behind the bill so they did not expect it to pass the republicans.
I just do not understand why it requires deep pocket full of money to do the right thing?
By now I think everyone Knows the story and what is going on....Just Do The Right thing!
I know I sure can use it....chemo sucks.

So can anyone explain to me why....after all we know and all....the republicans seem to still be against any kind of legal marijuana at all?

I am having a hard time wrapping my mind around why?

I am keeping Very high hopes that making it completely legal in Colorado will change everything and all the stupid marijuana laws will just fall away and not  be enforced by anyone!
And that we will all be free to grow our own for our own use.

Tiresome is a good word.
I will refrain from bringing it up.
Although at this point it is endlessly tempting.
And as a testament to my Dudeist Compeers I'll opine that our take on the same whirlpool of Christian apologist blather and yes atheist blather is MUCH more interesting than the stuff you find on Atheist forums.
That stuff makes anyone's brain ache. Not because it's deep but because it's like one of those arguments you might have with a very bad girlfriend where it just keeps coming around to the same topics over and over and over and over until both sides just get tired.
