I took today off...

and went river tubin'. Some good friends and I went to the near by town of Helen, it's a tourist town built to look like a German town.The Chattahocee (I am sure that's misspelled) river runs through it. Been year since I went tubin'. We drank some oat sodas, grilled some hamburgers, played some tunes and had a large time man.

The wife and I just met some friends to do some river tubing today. My first time drifting down that lazy old river. A group of ten folks with a separate tube just for the beer cooler. Damn nice, Dude!

Inneresting to see the floating styles different folks have --some folks just go where the current takes them. Other folks try to paddle their way to a favorite spot in the river. I tried to keep the paddling to a minimum, except when I had to catch up to the cooler tube.
