Reverend Curb

I just quickly glanced over the forum and didn't see a place for great books like we have for music, movies, drinks, what have you.

So could we add a sub-forum to the LML section for books?

If something like this already exists I apologize, I just didn't see it,
Well, that's your perception.

Good idea Rev Curb.

I'll start with "On the Road" and the Dharma bums by The maestro Dude Jack Kerouac.

Peace dudes

Right on. I'd nominate these two books for the Dudeist canon.

Jon Krakauer - "Into the Wild"

Paul Auster - "The Book of Illusions"

Stumblin Stumbleweed

John Kennedy Toole: A Confederacy of Dunces.

Anything by Kurt Vonnegut.

There are more, I'm sure. Watch this space.
What the fuck are you talking about?

Howdy, dudes.  I'd like to submit the following:

The Tao of Pooh by Benjamin Hoff

Be Here Now by Ram Dass

The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle

Relax, You're Already Home: Everyday Taoist Habits for a Richer Life by Raymond Barnett

The Untethered Soul by Michael Singer

But that's just, like, my opinion, man.

Peace, dudes.

Lost in the Funhouse: The Life and Mind of Andy Kaufman
by Bill Zehme

Also The Te of Piglet by Benjamin Hoff

But be aware the last time I lent my copy of The Tao of Pooh to someone they converted to Poohism (bloody pictures of the disney version all over their house), they may have missed the point entirely.
