Empires top 500 films.

TBL comes in at 43.

The big problem with lists like this is that you're never going to agree with them.

It's a voted list so a lot of good films depend on people having seen them, if they haven't seen them they wont vote for them. Which is why I think some of my own favourites appear so low down the list.

Also they always bring up interesting films I haven't seen yet, and one thing I don't need is more films.

It has staying power too; after 16 years it still has a strong popularity. Cool find, M5 dude! 8)
