Ottawa - Researchers say they have located the world's oldest stash of marijuana, in a tomb in a remote part of China.

The cache of cannabis is about 2,700 years old and was clearly ?cultivated for psychoactive purposes,? rather than as fibre for clothing or as food, says a research paper in the Journal of Experimental Botany.

It states in the story:"The 789 grams of dried cannabis was buried alongside a light-haired, blue-eyed Caucasian man, likely a shaman of the Gushi culture, near Turpan in northwestern China. " He was obviously adhering to a strict drug regimen, probably to keep his mind limber.  But that's just, like, my opinion, man.

This is strong support for Lao Tzu as the Ancient Patriarch of Dudeism.  Read the Tao Te Ching...then toke up and be in harmony with all things!
Is there a Ralph's around here?

Dbudda, were you smoking the Shaman's stash? You're like a child wandering into an Amsterdam coffee house without papers, necessary papers, rolling papers. Am I wrong? Okay then ;D

Lone dude

These discoveries are supposed to be shared with the world!  I'll be waiting for the museum to open.
If it were easy then I would have done it.

ozzy85

If it was found in the 1960's, I bet it wouldn't have been reported... ;D
At least I'm housebroken.

Lone dude

No kidding and if I found it I'd still be there.  Probably talking to the shaman but hey at least I'd still be there.
If it were easy then I would have done it.
