I was kind of reading that into it. It's so sad that the press in the US has become no more reliable than Pravda.
No more pravda than pravda I guess.
I know it takes all sides to get a clear picture but the fact that you concede that goes a long way toward suggesting a level of impartiality.
Be safe.

thank you! I can't really say I am impartial in all this, but I definitely don't color one side black and the other white in this, it's never that easy.

Actually, I've come to realize the fantastically deep meaning of the ying-yang symbol: black has its white spot, white has its balck spot and they spin endlessly together trying to overtake one another. I guess it's the endless cycle of life and the best you can do is live, observe and try keep the balance.

in other words, to abide. all jokes aside, dudeism is one hell of a religion. makes you think how people would behave if it was a major one in our country. it's that sacramental ability to be able to tell Walter he's an asshole, but hug him and go bowling in the end of the day. kinda sad that it takes Donnie's demise for some to realize that :)

I firmly believe that the true meaning of any religion/ethos is exposed at times of turmoil.
Anybody can abide when they are throwing strikes. It's when the paraquat steps over the line that we see the real deal.
You make a great point that if people "entered the valley of the shadow" equipped with Dudeist principles there might be less need for the "rod and the staff"
