My hoodie is camo, if I put it on my wife can't find me.  :)

Need camo that looks like couch cushions, then we'd all be safe.  :)

Sherlock Holmes did that in a chair... Most cool.

Yeah, that was one of the better scenes in the movie. Very slick indeed!

That is cool, that's cool... With dim lighting you could go unseen really well.
Great pic, dude!

I have an urban camo body warmer. Went down the "beach" (shingle) near Worthing UK, one evening with a lady friend. Just sitting there watching the waves. She went back to the car for a jumper then couldn't find me because I'd completely blended in with the background. All I could hear was a plaintive cry of my name because she thought I'd wandered off.

I don't always wear my robe, but I have worn it to the head-shop, liquor store, and to pop in for some half&half as needed. People died face down in the mud for my right to do that, man....    :)

Yeah man I've darned my robe to head to the beer store for some oat sodas... Figured fuck it, the place is frequented by far worse than a dude in a robe wearing his sunglasses!

After reading this post, I wanted to see if the robe made a difference, so I bought one.

I can firmly say that my beliefs on the matter are the same as with other "religious" clothing--it only helps you so far as it puts you in the right headspace. Twelve seconds of wearin' this baby, and I can already feel all the f**ks I give just  melting away because I'm so comfortable I could care less about anything else. The robe doesn't make me more like the Dude on its own, but it does this thing to me where it makes me relax, and isn't that what we're about, man?

Take it or leave it, y'know. But I dig it.

Whenever I have performed a ceremony it's mostly for the people I'm doing it for.

I don't necessarily think blessing a van makes a difference except in the celebrants mind. It's the persons mind that projects into the world and makes the difference.

Wearing robes sometimes helps them with this.
