Manchester Museum time-lapse 'shows Egyptian statue move'

Time-lapse footage shows an Egyptian statue moving in its glass display cabinet, according to a Manchester Museum.

The museum says it installed a stop-motion camera after reports the carving had started changing position, despite apparently not being moved by human hands for 80 years. The 10 inch stone statue dates back to 1800 BC.

Lord, you can imagine where it goes from here - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-23029507

People had more of a sense of humor back then and sometimes shaman or priests would play head games on people just to shakeup their reality a little and have some fun playing practical jokes. I wouldn't be surprised in the least of it was whoever cared the thing even deciding to poke fun at people by stuffing a loadstone in side or whatever.  :P

Interesting... I'd love to get my paranormal equipment out and investigate that statue.

The lodestone thing would be an interesting experiment to try too...

The Egyptian museums have been caught pulling stunts too in order to revive interest in their exhibits and drive up the prices of antiques. It's a living I suppose and P.T. Barnum would certainly approve.
