I must've just blinked out of existence!  I watched the Oscars once, in the home of some idiot bitch who thought it perfectly okay to invite a guest into her home to be ignored except during commercials. I hung around long enough to be polite, not eating and running, then I bolted. She said at the door that she was disappointed, had wanted to bed me after the program, but then the commercial break ended and she didn't even bother to finish the sentence she was speaking.
