Will we ever understand quantum theory?

Quantum mechanics must be one of the most successful theories in science. Developed at the start of the twentieth century, it has been used to calculate with incredible precision how light and matter behave - how electrical currents pass through silicon transistors in computer circuits, say, or the shapes of molecules and how they absorb light. Much of today's information technology relies on quantum theory, as do some aspects of chemical processing, molecular biology, the discovery of new materials, and much more.

That's interesting, man. That's fucking interesting -

I've studied this a little bit, and I'm always struck by how much they DON'T know and understand about quantum properties, hence the theories. To me, it's the tail wagging the dog. It's similar to how astrophysicists come up with the dark matter theory to explain why galaxies don't spin faster in the middle like a conventional vortex. "There must be a glue that binds it all together".

Kinda like how we, purely because of observation, thought the stars, planets, and sun circled the earth. It took deeper knowledge to reveal the true geometry of the universe.

Those quantums are down there somewhere.

Why don't you take another look.

Well, you know what they say.If you think you understand what they are talking about, you really haven't been paying attention.
If you believe you can tell me what to think.
I believe I can tell you where to go.

I'm glad the collapsing wave function doesn't apply when I observe her...
