So dudes, here is one to spark some thinking and productive debate I hope.

What would be the tenets of a Dudeist Government? Thoughts, dudes?

I'm surprised nobody else has had a go at this so far. So let's get this ball, belatedly, rolling.
Legalisation of marijuana would probably be, um, high on the agenda.
Work/life balances should be reconfigured to encourage relaxation and taking it easy, man.
Daily Yoga in schools and workplaces would promote limberness of body and mind.
There should, and I'm aware that opinions may vary here, be a greater number of cash machines, with a $1000 credit facility pre-installed.
Receptacles should be considerably more modestly priced.
Oh, and league organisers should be aware that members of certain faith communities sure as shit don't fucking roll on Shabbos.
I was sure there was something else. Lost my train of thought here...
What the fuck are you talking about?

True equality for all.
Socially libertarian, social democracy.
Minimum income.
Free education.
Single payer health system.
Quasi post scarcity economic model.

Er... basically the same as Star Trek, Gene Rodenberry was a techno-Dude.

Stumblin Stumbleweed

Yep.
We ought to ensure that the minimum income actually covers life's necessities. Unlike the UK's minimum wage, which forces millions into long working weeks with only mounting debts to look forward to. It's about basic human dignity.

Minimum income is not minimum wage, think Social Security for all.

Some will say, but if we give everyone free money no one will work. I say, then explain why rich kids work, go to college and start businesses, if having your needs met were such a bad thing, then we should outlaw inheritance.

It would actually lead to more industry, how many folks out there have great ideas, but no means to bring them to reality, because they are so worried about not being able to eat or have a home while they develop their idea? Or think it too risky to quit that crappy job and start their own business? Or want to go back to school, but have mouths to feed? We need an iron floor, a level below which we do not allow any human to fall. Poor desperate people are not good for anyone's economy, they are too poor and scared to produce shit or buy shit. It amounts to unbelievable amounts of lost potential.

It would toe the line between anarchy and nihilism.

Any government which would enact Dudeist tenets would necessarily be comprised of Dudeist representatives elected by a Dudeist constituency. There's no way they're getting motivated enough to go all Alinsky. On the bright side, the people wouldn't be fucked with and played against each other and their own interests.
