I've never been a fan of all the iShit for the reasons in that article. So closed & restricted, but people bash Microsoft for similar practices.

Apple may have just repackaged an Old idea but it does all I want from it. As a basic user, I'm happy with it. The iPad is mostly used by the kids and one of them is 2! That's a sad indictment of modern parenting!?!
