I try not to pay too much attention to these types of things, but Is anyone else mildly annoyed by the reactionaries on both sides of issues like this. I mean, who really cares? All I know is people on both sides are jumping on their soap boxes and clogging up my feeds, man. Almost considering just mixing a Caucasian, turning up some tunes and just turning off for a couple days til their soap boxes cave in.

Also, man, shame on Time Magazine and the media in general for being so intentional with their melodrama. I honestly don't think the average person cares nearly as much about these things as the media lets on.

I hear ya, that's one of those things I am intentional avoiding. Nothing important there, some of the jokes I've heard are kinda funny tho.

That is true, and definitely seen a couple good parody covers so far.

Time magazine, like many other media outlets, are losing their readers and subscribers chiefly due to the Internet and it's massive amounts of information and news right at a dude's fingertips (why buy a magazine?). Because of this, Time Magazine, and others like them, have to stoop to any tactic they can to get attention. Cheap shots like some women having her breast nursed by a three year old is a symptom of their disparate condition.

With the advent of devices such as the iPad and other tablet computers, Time Magazine and others, are relics of the past in paper form and now have to compete with anyone with a website. 100% electronic, wave of the future.

.....three year old, dudes.

What I notice most about these situations is they say much less about the issue and much more about the human condition...I ranted a little about it on my blog, if anyone is interested it is on there and you can find it in my profile but I am not going to bore people with a huge rant on here.
