Groups criticise web 'snoop' plan

These kind of people fear the Internet. And why not; they fear anything they do not control. It's like us in America, the NSA wants to listen to everything, if they are not already doing so.

To me it's a moot point. We have spent so long under US, UK, and EU surveillance projects looking to "protect" us from terrorist/communist/anarchist threats.

It's too late to be whinging about curtailing civil liberties, the whole infrastructure already exists, all they want to do now is make it above board and not have to pretend to get a warrant each time they want to use the stuff as evidence against you.
