Tripnastic

So I know Dudes around here don't tend to be into combat sports and the like, but I got some good news and wanted to share it with my people.

For about 10 years I've been working as a cutman for boxing, kickboxing, and most of all, MMA.

(what's a cutman? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cutman)

It was a good way to get free ringside tickets to a sport I like using my nursing background.

Well Dudes, the ship has come in. I got a call the other day from MTV. They own a promotion called Bellator that shows on Friday nights.  They want old Tripnastic to be the cutman on national TV for 2012  and beyond. Plus I asked for double my usual fee and got it. Shows start up again in March.

I'll update the board on nights  you'll be able to tune it, and I'm going to try and sneak something Dudely onto my jacket for the world to see.

From what is Dudeism trying to liberate us?Thinking that's too uptight.

To what state of being is Dudeism trying to bring us? Just taking it easy, man.

By what means does Dudeism attempt do this? Abiding.

OK so I don't have a clue what a "cutman" is but I am made up for you Dude. Well done.

Actually I haven't mentioned it before but a couple of months ago I was made up to Senior DBA here at the museum. A bit of a pay rise but more responsibility (of course).

Thanks Dudes, and Congrats Meekon!

There's a video of a show I worked for Bellator as a tryout on youtube, I'll include the link here. I'm the bald guy with the beard and rubber gloves on :)

If you jump to 17:20 you'll see what the job entails.
