I say let'r rip and see what happens! And, well, as far as "bar" is concerned, it's a known southern twang/accent thing that actually means "bear", not "bar". But then, shoosh, who am I to walk into the middle of anyone's movie?

I wouldn't worry about not using half&half, we don't even have such a... a... strange concotion over here in the UK (that I know of). We just use milk. I think the traditional way of turning a Black Russian into a white one is to use cream, but, that's too rich for my blood...

I make mine at home with soya milk, which is apparently known as the Asian Caucasian.

1/2 & 1/2 is half heavy cream, half milk. Makes for a tasty beverage, but a bit over the top for some people.
