Blind Blake Diddie Wa Diddie.....

This is a true story .......

I met this R.N. Nurse  the first day she stayed at my place (while I was at work) she checked out my CD's ....... and when I got home she said I love all your old Blues Music .......... but why do they call themselves BLIND? .......... of course I replied ...... because they are Blind....... she thought it was maybe slang.........

I don't know if the Reverend Gary Davis makes it in or not. He's a bit later.

But I've always loved his finger picking style and especially the many musicians who later did his songs.
Jorma Kaukenen, David Bromberg, Steffan Grossman etc etc...

Saw Hot Tuna a couple months ago and they did an awesome Keep Your Lamps trimmed and burning with Teresa Williams and Larry Campbell helping.

Jorma Actually studied with the Reverend.
