I'm a recently ordained but long-time dudeist. Some might say born dudeist. Or, they could call me The Dudeist Who Didn't Know It. Anyway, I'm glad to become part of the community and I'd like to say hello from Paris (France). It's a long way for a toast but... cheers ! ^^

Thanks man ! I looked up to the map and I saw there doesn't seem to be so many dudes around, in France, but I know some, with potential. So i'm up to create an amateur bowling team in Paris (I'm not that bad).

What's up all? I'm new to Dudeism, but i love the idea of inner peace, and i mean, who doesn't love "The Big Lebowski"? Definitely one of my top threes. Just came here to introduce myself, and say hello! Read a little bit on the forums, loving the philosophical discussions and all of the deep thought, it really gets the mind working! I also really dig the lack of judgement, this seems like a great place to pop an oat soda and relax. Anyway, just saying HI!

Yes, for the most part this is a mellow easy going forum....lot's of dudes dude! Sometimes we get a dick or two kicking up dust, but as long as you don't let the paraquats get to you the whole forum will stay mellow.
If you don't care for a topic or a post...ignore it. And you can always bring a topic or thread back around by posting your own abiding thoughts.
We are just here trying to take it easy and trying to stay dude.
Rants are welcome and so is venting.  Just please try and find the best place on the rug to do either.

Sonofa...I'm jealous, dude. Successful pro-poker player is right up there with successful golfer as my ideal job. I can't do either. So, yeah, I kinda hate you.

Tell me this, though: You are playing a no-limit, 6-8 handed, hold-em game with roughly equal stacks. You get dealt K/2 suited and bet. One player to your left and one player to your right each call. The flop comes K/9 off-suite and 8 suited. You bet and get raised.

What do you do? Or do you avoid getting in the situation? If so, where and why?
