Nomination for Dudes

Lot of ins...lot of outs to that one dude. Like that idea. Maybe send a "Dude Award" notification or something to the nominee? That would be for Real dudes, not just some actor playing a dude...right? Guess they should be real living dudes so they can accept the nomination?
Maybe we should have a special place to keep the Dude Award Winners?

How about a section in the http://dudeism.com/ called "The Hall of Great Dudes." Would include a picture of the dude nominated and confirmed, some notes on the dude's dudely like background and some kind of "Great Dude in History" seal and logo?

now that's fucking interesting man. if we contacted great dudes and told them they were awarded it, maybe they could help spread the word of dudeism since most of them are well known and pull a lot of water in their beach communities and what have you.

we should have little trophies made up and mail them to their publicists.

Well, that was kinda the idea behind The Duders - I have kinda, sorta let it slide but I feel the nominations stand (Graham Hancock oughta get something). The categories need a little more tuning, all suggestions welcome: http://dudeism.com/smf/index.php?topic=1548.0

Why not design it like the Time Magazine Mirror but just have it read "A Great Dude" or maybe "A Worthy Fuckin' Dude!"?

Also dudes, it's just like my opinion, but I don't think "Great" and Dude should be put together. I believe Worthy is a more acceptable nomenclature...am I wrong?

How about a dude would be given the title of "Worthy Dude" while still with us, and when he or she joins the dudely departed, is then given the title of "Great Dude," or "Great Dude in History."
