Anyone here a member of Change.org? They are having a petition drive to get Willie Nelson to put on a fund raiser concert for cannabis prohibition repeal.
After his arrest last month in Texas, Willie has formed the Teapot Party, we lean a little to the left, the leaning to the left may be a play on how we generally pass to the left.

Pass or puff, it is up to you, but prohibition is corrosive to our society and human spirituality.

Peace Dudes.

Quaker Dude

This is a great topic, and one I truly believe the theologically non-square community should be instrumental in perpetuating down through the ages.

The religious implications of drug prohibition are deep and wide-ranging, with a lotta ins and a lotta outs.  I see, at the heart of the prohibition issue, the fundamental question of whether or not consenting individuals have the right to fully explore their own minds and souls.

The search for enlightenment means vastly different things to different people, after all.  If one person's quest for knowledge compels him to adhere to a strict drug regimen to keep his mind limber, then that's cool.

The thing is, good luck convincing politicians of the religious significance of mind-altering substances.  Both major parties tend to consist of real reactionaries whose thinking about this issue has become very uptight.

Just get a legal medical prescription!!

My wife did that. She simply went to her doctor and claimed she had terrible migraines. ;D She was given a permit to possess and use hemp. The problem is that it is legal for her to do so based on California law, but NOT based on federal law. In other words, example; she could still be busted by a federal marshal for possession in California.

Can you imagine that bullshit? The federal government is dumb enough to believe that it has the right to tell you that you cannot burn a J. OVER THE FUCKING LINE!!!

The mindless shit-for-brains assholes running Washington know that it is only a matter of time before hemp is legalized for the entire United States. It's only a matter of time before the public forces the feds to do as the majority of the country wants -- Hemp legalized and federal hands off!

But like any dying entity, they hold on to power in desperation as long as they can. They can't stop the truth and they can't stop factual information spreading; AKA; WikiLeaks.

I say...........

Cool dude, but it doesn't help us here in PA.
Shit dude we still got State Stores for hard liquor.
And it wasn't that long ago we finally overturned the Blue Laws where it was forbidden to do business on Sunday.

Medical is great, but the problem is prohibition, we need to tax it, regulate it and legalize it. It is now a race to see what state goes legalize first, it will take a lot of work (I know, sounds exhausting, but afterwards we can all take a well deserved nap), but it is time to start gearing up for the 2012 Tsunami of legalization. My money is on New England having the first legalize state.

If "we the people" were really running the United States instead of a small bunch of silly hysterical ignorant morons such as the Bush family and the like, hemp would have never been illegal.

It's sad that a few pea brained idiots call the shots for an entire nation.

We were sold into slavery when Wilson established The Federal Reserve Act in 1913.
That effectively put the whole country in the pockets of the Bankers and Big Business, and at the same time created the Golden Rule of The US: He who has the gold makes the rules!

Fucking eh, we were! I love the phony titled they named it; "The Federal Reserve" .....it's neither "federal" or a "reserve." It's a private bank with the IRS as it's collection agency, nothing more other than a massive debt machine used to control the money and the country.
