Ok I checked it out. How does it work?

I actually had the same question to pose, I get the basic principle and the philanthropic element speaks for itself, but what do we give, to who, for what?  Is there a paypal option?

Sorry mine may have seemed a bit arsey. I'm actually interested in this but the website isn't that clear. i also think it would be nice to do this as part of a Dudeism (dudeist) group. (just felt I should clarify there!).

OK I've now watched the About Video.

How do we organise the Dudeist group?

Yes thanks for that ED (more irony than Ironman visiting an iron foundry in a particular ironic way). I had read the rest of the thread.  ;D

What I meant was do we now look for a particular loan to make a significant part of as the Dudeist group?

forumdude

just for the record: http://www.kiva.org/team/dudeism is the official church of the latter day dude giving team. everyone's free to join any team they want of course. we'd dig it if you joined that one so that our total would get higher. but this isn't a competition so feel free to do as you please. you can even start up your own dudeism giving team if you like.

anyway, we're going to start promoting it soon. cheers.
I'll tell you what I'm blathering about...

oh so there is some organisation going on here in the background, and not just the three of us blundering around like kids come late to the film!

So I was going to replay to your post by saying "what, are you the fucking Loan Ranger now?"

But have to say it looks like you have a whole worthy fucking thing going on there, dude. Helping Little Lebowski Urban Achievers, yes, and proud we are of all of them

Dudes

Am wanting to run a competition (subject to approval from his dudeness, owner of dudeism.com)

Where WE (thats US) join our official KIVA.org team and make a loan.

ONE lucky dude who joins KIVA.org and makes at least one loan will get a $25 KIVA.org voucher (as good as cash man) from yours truly.

YOUR DUDENESS DO YOU APPROVE ????? (competiton entrants would have to join the dudeism team)

OTHER DUDES WILL YOU TAKE PART ???

(Maybe change the rules slightly, as I fear many of us dudes may be fiscally challanged... hmmmm... )
