FUCK information

Not sure where to post this but, ok, I have been snooping around trying to find more info on the word "FUCK". imo this word got a unfortunate labling as being a bad word in which people that know better know that it is not a swear word at all.

Anyway I thought that this dudeism site should have  a special/permanent section of sorts for reference for the word "FUCK"

This type of section could be of great help to people in school (or clergy) to be able to refrence "fuck" information. to, example, help correct teachers in the meaning of the word.

When I was a teen many moons ago I use to carry a printed dictionary type document in my pocket in which I could use with my teachers explaning to them in detail that the word... "Fuck can be used as a verb, adverb, adjective, command, conjunction, interjection, noun and pronoun, and can logically be used as virtually any word in a sentence"

So anyway I just thought I would like to give a content suggestion for the site,  here are 2 links with some examples of what I feel dudism.com should have as permanent info somewhere...

There's a great book that touches on this subject. It's far from scholarly or scientific but it's so funny that Tom Robbins sued the author because everyone thought he wrote it under a pseudonym and that he promoted the myth.

It's called Fuck Yes! by Wing F. Fing.

It's about a guy who becomes a spiritual guru because he decides to say yes to everything. But everything in his life ends up getting fucked.

he's not confused. that's why the van halen album was named for unlawful carnal knowledge. there's a theory that fuck came from an acronym used in british court documents - when someone was accused of a sex crime the magistrate or barrister or clerk or judge or whatever would write FUCK in the ledger. and so vulgar sex became equated with the word fuck. van halen were just being cheeky as usual. i'm sure diver down refers to cunnilingus. fuck knows what women and children first refers to.

funny how awesome van halen seemed in the 80s. i was a heavy metal guitarist and my first guitar was all stripey like eddie van halen's. luckily it's since been repainted white. a few years back rolling stone released the list of the 200 best guitarists of all time and evh was pretty far down the list. i guess technique is only a small part of what makes rock rock.

My very first gig ever, at the high school talent show, we butchered 5 tunes, two  of them were VH. We rocked and rolled all night, and part of the next day. Happy days, man.

Van Halen have not aged well, unlike some of their peers. I mean, the front man changes, the acrimony, and over time, people realized that the music was never great. Coke sucks the soul out of music. Eddie was always bothered by Diamond Dave's need to de-tune the guitars a half step. He thought that it changed the effect of the music. He was right.

I no longer enjoy VH, I mean, I can tap my toe, but I feel nothing. Eddie had amazing technique and feel for the guitar, one of the best, but the emotion was always lacking.

We know so little about music, there is so much left to learn. There is a theory that sound frequencies can actually heal damaged DNA. Cymatics is an amazing field of study. Many cathedrals in Europe were designed to amplify music, and the dimensions were drawn from musical theory.

Well fuck me, that's news to me dude. I just thought Van Halen made it up. Little bit before my time, plus I was never really in to them. Now Steppenwolf is another matter as, of course, is Creedence.
