Used to be that it only wanted ages and gender and number of
people yadda yadda. Now they want everything all the  way to
yer salary and phone numbers etc...
You know during WW2 they used census data to round up the

Please, BDude, the correct term is japanese, or as we called them in NAM, slopes, vc, zipperheads, cong, charlie. However, this has nothing to do with the census....And for the record, NAM was a cluster fuck of the highest magnitude and Grace Slick stated it so well, "when the truth is found to be lies and all the joy within you dies"...yadda yadda. Durn lost my......

There were a lot of bogus census forms going out with the intent to steal information for identity theft. The real forms aren't very personal at all. But, some people are getting an additional questionnaire that's from another survey. If you aren't sure your census form is legit you can call the American Community Survey Helpline at 800.354.7271

Also, not filling out the real census costs the government a fortune b/c they are mandated by the constitution to gather the info, so they have to pay people to come knock on your door. So by filling out the census you help to reduce government spending. Also, not filling it out is technically illegal, best to keep them off your back so they leave you alone imo.

I did run across my mind that it might have been a bogus one. But if so then we did not get the legit one. The one we got was way more intrusive than any other census ever. I have never had a problem with filling it out but with the one we got I had to draw the line.
