I forgot to put a TM or circle-R behind it, so it's community property.

Pilfer at will.
Just putting "TM or circle-R" doesn't necessarily restrict usage, both have to be properly registered. Better to use circle-C, and a better still restriction would be one of the circle-CC (Creative Commons) copyright licenses. Which are much better and don't restrict distribution but depending on what version you go for depends on what you are letting people do.

(sorry one of my things!)

Agreed. But both major US political parties tread well beyond treason generations ago. At this point we have a Kafka-esque Absurdocracy - government by bureaucrats who ignore the rule of law, themselves, while weaponizing it against internal enemies and whose foreign policy is conducted solely to perpetuate and strengthen its hold over the domestic populace through propaganda and scare tactics.

They have gradually become more and more bold as they have gotten away with more and more.
It used to be they used loopholes and attorneys. Now they've conspired to make their largess legal.
They know they control the dialog. Not only are people docile as Buddhist cows they are kept blissfully ignorant. When they do organize it is around the cause of cutting their own throats .
It's fairly pathetic.

I really believe that this is the result of shooting down the Telecommunications act of 1934. By Clinton.
The dialog has been bought 100%.
It's an echo chamber.

Actually found the best "license" today:

 * Nagy Vilmos wrote this file. As long as you retain this notice you
