The Dudes Latest Beer Adventure

Today's Beer Adventure...

Well, my dude buds and I decided to drop by our favorite drinking hole today (The Redondo Beach Brewery) and savor a good Oat Soda and check out the hotties to be seen there. Two of them, two of the dudes, decided to go with a standard draft, but we remaining two other dudes went with the current special of the house.......

As some noted professionals have said...

A refreshing neo-Berliner Weisse, Festina Peche is available in 4-packs and on draft during the sweaty months.

Sadly  :-\ , there are only a few breweries left in Berlin still brewing the Berliner Weisse style, which is characterized by its intense tartness (some say sour). There were once over 70 breweries in Berlin alone making this beer!

In addition to fermentation with an ale yeast, Berliner Weisse is traditionally fermented with lactic cultures to produce its acidic (or green apple-like) character. Served as an apertif or summertime quencher, Festina is delicately hopped and has a pale straw color. To soften the intense sourness, Berliner Weisse is traditionally served with a dash of essence of woodruff or raspberry syrup.

In Festina Peche, since the natural peach sugars are eaten by the yeast, the fruit complexity is woven into both the aroma and the taste of the beer so there is no need to doctor it with woodruff or raspberry syrup. Just open and enjoy!

Again the DB brings us back around to truly important topics.
First day of summer and I'm thinking of some cold ones and my floating seat in the pool.
I'm gonna need to renew my beer club membership.
Local beverage center has exotics on tap.
You buy a membership and you get a "growler" for refills.
I used to head over there get a refill and sit in the pool or on the porch and watch the sun go down.
Ahhhhh far fucking out man!

If you like trying different beers and like your European wares, maybe you could search out some genuine Belgian Trappist beers. I love that stuff. Some come in basic 3 to 5% abv, some come in around the 7 to 9% and then you get the "Specials" which rock anywhere up to 18% abv (highest I've tried and it was like beautiful, brain cell killing syrup). That there is some serious shit, my friends.
If at first you don't succeed ... Um ... Yeah. Whatever and stuff.

Essence of Woodruff - very appropriate:

A natural way to get back to your inner Dude by adding Woodruff to beer.

Sweet Woodruff
Asperula odorata(visit http://theurl.co/Dude)

Indications: --

This essence is for those who don't trust their ability to heal themselves, looking outside to others for answers. Their problems seem too overwhelming for them. This seems to be from blocks in the heart and sexual chakra.

Balancing Qualities:

This essence helps people see that they can break down their issues and tackle one thing at a time.
It opens them to be willing to work on themselves that way, thus bringing them hope and success rather than overwhelm. This plant exhibits centeredness, balance and light, offering these qualities to the recipient.

Cool

Dogfish Head is good stuff. They're legit. I love their IPAs, particularly the 90 Minute.

I've certainly done my fair share of praying at the porcelain altar after having a fair few of those sacred beverages. Even before I became a Dudeist.

I think Beer is more of the sacred link.
The Dude is the only one who drinks white russians.
Beer is universal.
