I am very touched by this dude's remembrance of his mother. As it is soon the anniversary of my mother's passing (Nov 30th) I too am remembering a great woman. Having reared three children myself, I have so much respect for the way she loved and supported all eight of us! A most patient and abiding person, she was. Bless her soul, peace be with her and all the loved ones who have gone before. As regards cremation, scattering of ashes etc, somehow to me burial seems more dignified and respectful. My mum and I have always been earthy people, loving flowers, plants and trees. I will be happy if my old carcass is laid down and becomes part of the cycle of growth.
