I nominate Epicurus the old Greek philosopher as a dudeist sage.
Why? Cause the basic tenent of his philosophy was that happiness is the ultimate goal for a person.
" For who can doubt that pleasure is the only goal of a reasoned life? Espicially the pleasure derived from a calm and orderly soul, one forged in meditation. There is no fault which contemplation and logic cannot repair, leaving only quietude and peace."
OK, that whole "forged in meditation" thing is a bit harsh, but we must remember that there were no caucasians or bowling in ancient greece. That's gonna harsh anyone's mellow.
Also, to my knowledge Epicurus is the only ancient philosopher to have a comic book. funny stuff for those of you with a love of greek mythology, history and philosophy. It's called Epicurus the Sage, by William Messner-Loebs and Sam Keith.
