Hector Berlioz was a french composer who only wanted the arts to be more respected in normal everyday life and his music is awe inspiring even today he is a dude.

Dmitri Shostakovich was a russian composer who lived in the undude times of Soviet Russian and when forced to write a symphony for stalin Shostakovich did what he could do which is openly mock him and all that is undude through music. He is so dude he made a musical idea built from his own name.

Joseph Haydn was an Austrian composer who was only ever bested by mozart but Haydn was such a dude and just abided he happily wrote his music no matter how showy mozart got he is a dude for just taking it all in stride.

Ludwig Beethoven was a german composer who one brought about a new age of music making called the romantic era. His music pushed every boundary he could and yet his ideas were so dude like with his 6th symphony even though he was deaf when he wrote just sat in the woods laid back and wrote down what came to him what a dude.

To conquer the world, take it easy.

Well, I would definitely say yes as to Ludwig van Beethoven. When you read his letters, you learn that he managed to survive moving all the time, having very little and not caring much about the opinions of other people ('I do not play for pigs' is one of his famous quotes). Sang silly songs in the middle of the night, loved joking and was always ready to help his friends. Drank a lot of coffee and ate pasta with parmesan cheese, dried fish etc.
