"If you are not American, you cannot trust U.S. software services."
Microsoft former chief privacy adviser Caspar Bowden has said for years that he does not trust Microsoft as a company, nor does he trust its software. If a privacy expert who previously worked for Microsoft can’t trust the company, should we? Well at the 31st Chaos Communication Congress (31C3), Bowden presented The Cloud Conspiracy 2008 – 2014.
?Christians have an obligation, a mandate, a commission, a holy responsibility to reclaim the land for Jesus Christ-to have dominion in the civil structures, just as in every other aspect of life and godliness. But it is dominion that we are after. Not just a voice. It is dominion we are after. Not just influence. It is dominion we are after. Not just equal time.It is dominion we are after.World conquest. That?s what Christ has commissioned us to accomplish. We must win the world with the power of the Gospel. And we must never settle for anything less.If Jesus Christ is indeed Lord, as the Bible says, and if our commission is to bring the land into subjection to His Lordship, as the Bible says, then all our activities, all our witnessing, all our preaching, all our craftsmanship, all our stewardship, and all our political action will aim at nothing short of that sacred purpose. Thus, Christian politics has as its primary intent the conquest of the land ? of men, families, institutions, bureaucracies, courts, and governments for the Kingdom of Christ. It is to reinstitute the authority of God?s Word as supreme over all judgments, over all legislation, over all declarations, constitutions, and confederations.?The basic premise of dominion theology is that when Adam sinned, not only did man lose dominion over the earth, but God also lost control of the earth to Satan, and that Jesus CAN'T return until the Church takes over the world and there is a Theocracy.
"When Fascism comes to America it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross." Attributed to Sinclair Lewis. The part of this that, at the same time, makes me laugh and cringe is that these willing dupes on the religious right don't understand that what is coming about is not for the glory of God or preparing for the rapture or any of that other shit. It is being done for the benefit of the global elite and multi-national corporations. When the shit hits the fan they're gonna get some on them just like the rest of us. But that's just, like, my opinion.
G?ring: Why, of course, the people don't want war. Why would some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best that he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece? Naturally, the common people don't want war; neither in Russia nor in England nor in America, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship or a Parliament or a Communist dictatorship.Gilbert: There is one difference. In a democracy, the people have some say in the matter through their elected representatives, and in the United States only Congress can declare wars.G?ring: Oh, that is all well and good, but, voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.
