Perhaps the most heartwarming thing I've seen in a while

Though just a TV show, it's a good lesson.

has anyone here ever watched Louie? It's a show about and starring the comedian Louis CK, and there's this episode where he went to Afghanistan to entertain US soldiers.
If you don't want it spoiled, watch it - I highly recommend just this episode even if you're not into his kind of humor. It's episode 11 from season 2, called Duckling.

If you dan't want to watch, spoilers below:
Quote
Just before going to Afghanistan, Louie's daughter packed a duckling into his bag without him knowing, writing that it should bring him luck. When he discovered the duclking in Afghanistan, he though it would bring nothing but trouble. But not only did it bring joy, it also mmay have saved his life and quite a few more.
When returning from the military base on a transport heli, the heli broke down and so the squad had to wait for reinforcements. During that time a group of armed Afghanis strolled by and they started having a heated argument where neither of the sides were sure if the other one is hostile, but both were ready to shoot. Until Louie's duckling jumped out of his bag. He tried to get it back, but tripped and fell. What everyone saw was a fat man trip over chasing a chirping duckling in the middle of a conflict, and everyone burst into laughter. The episode ended with everyone shaking hands and Louie leaving the duckling to an Afghani girl.

Now I understand that this scenario is borderline a fairytale, but it does show that misunderstandings and stupid conflicts aside, we're all people, no matter where we live, what we do, whom we worship and what language we speak. It makes me very sad and very angry that in XXI century, a time of worldwide communication, people still fight over stupid reasons and get manipulated into hatred to a different group so easily.
Will this bullshit ever stop? Like seriously.
