Sweet Brown

Many people have seen the Youtube video of Sweet Brown. I am not here to make fun of her, but to express gratitude to her for creating a phrase that I think plays a big part in our every day lives.

In less than 40 seconds this lady shows what being a dude is all about. All she wanted was a cold pop. Nothing else.

I like to think of her catch phrase "Ain't nobody got time for that" as a true saying of which we should abide by. We, as humans, don't have time to deal with pointless crap, like a fire, or bronchitis. Every day, I use that phrase when trying to give advice or solve a problem.

It is a saying that resonates deep within us. Stopped at a red light? Ain't nobody got time for that. Someone eats your lunch? Ain't nobody got time for that. It's more of an inconvenience than anything, but just enough of a pain that we don't want to deal with it, but we have to.

For that reason, for saying what we all think and feel, I nominate Sweet Brown to become a Dude.
