Why give up a friendship just because of somebody else's view on life I have a couple really good friends that see things differently than I do, we always have fun talking about these things because we can explain our side/see each others side and even though we may disagree we don't get all butthurt over it ya know.Unless he's being very un-Dude or something I don't see why you couldn't continue your friendship with him, but that's just like... my opinion man The Dude "hates The fuckin Eagles man", but I'm still gonna rock out to em... to each his own dude, just take er easy and abide
and I told him I had joined Dudeism. He is a fan of The Big Lebowski, and has even meet The Dude when he lived in California. I told him he should check out the Dudeism site, he then told me that he was a Nilhilist man! I should of seen the signs but I didn't, guess I'll have to find a new bud to golf with. A Dude can't run with a Nilhilist can he? Fuck it, think I'll just take up bowlin', man.
Dude, You're joking, but you just jogged my memory: A few months ago there was a discussion on this here forum about the relationship between the nihilist and Dude mindsets. I can't quite remember the gist of the conversation-- I should take another look (it's down there somewhere!). But I've always thought that Dudeists are nihilists who managed to find their way through and out of the tunnel.Thoughts, Dude?Dude, you could be on to something. I had gotten to where I didn't care or really believe in anything. I was indifferent to everything, I really could careless. I was negative and pessimistic about everything. People that I was dealing with had me thinking the whole human race was one big asshole, and there were no true happy and caring people out there. I know some might think yeah right man, but Dudeism has really changed me I am so glad I found it. It has truly changed my look at life. I would like to read that discussion myself, if you find it let me know man. I'm to lazy to look for it. Quote from: A Dude on July 25, 2013, 08:17:02 PMand I told him I had joined Dudeism.
