Marvin Gaye, Prophet of the Dudely Way

I think Marvin Gaye is an overlooked protofollower and voice for our way of life. He struggled with authority all his life, he valued doing the right thing over fame and money. He protected what was his. He changed the world and his industry with his goodness, capability and creative INaction.

He may need to go into the pantheon of Dudeness as a subordinate to Barry Gordy, but he definitely needs to go in as his story is deeply allegorical and illustrative of our way.
