Wouldn't that be cfkeiser instead of cckeiser then?

Well, well, well - good morning Dude Town!  8) Thanks to forum Dude for getting rid of the juvenile status thing (I hope that hasn't pissed any Dudes off). Just to clarify - I stand by what I said but I am not losing any sleep over it. Not exactly tying-off the molotovs ready to storm the bunker; not working in shifts on the secret dissident printing press, not . . well, fuck it, y'know.

Not sure how anyone is supposed to be rewarded for their 'state of being' - but, fuck it. Can you really see anyone attempting to 'lord it over' the likes of Didge, CC, and M5 - not likely, man. No one is out to spoil a party here: but I say even cosmic clowns are serious about their make-up.

Now on to Dude presentation and deportment: should we make beards compulsory? I find I am a little suspicious of so called Dudes who are clean-shaven. How do we know we can trust them? The Dudely Lama doesn't sport a beard but that's because of his . .erm, 'state of being' (y'know the hermaphrodite thing) not the Dude's fault. But some Dudes ain't even trying to fit in, y'know. A few sport a moustache which is a start, I guess; however, even my spouse's whiskers are longer than mine - she's Duded-up, mang. (to be continued . . maybe)

cakes?? Is that you dude??
Not sure what you've been smoking, but it may be time to switch up dude.

I shaved up all pretty like a few months back. Not trying to fit into someone else's idea of anything is pretty dude don't you think?
Just do your own dude thing and fuck what anyone else thinks.

people thought I let my hair grow and grew a beard cause I was trying to make a "statement". Wasn't that at all dude...was just to lazy to shave or spend all that time and money to get my hair cut. Always hated getting my hair cut for some reason...so 30 years ago I stopped. Guess I saved a lot of bucks...or bones or clams or whatever you call them...not to mention all the time and aggravation.
The point was not to be "Something" but to stop trying to be something I'm not. Just to be and to stop trying to "Fit in".

Abide dudes.

Fuckin A man. The squares just creep me out man.
The cruel irony is that people continue to be suspicious of freaks while the used car salesman who is their kids boy scout troop leader is a pederass. And the bank president is a crook etc etc...
8 year olds dude.

Hey Dudes - just gassing there for a laugh (well, obviously it didn't work) Dude can shave his/her head and paint it blue for all I care. But, as Biker Dude says, brethren - watch out for the tie-wearers. I guess I shouldn't follow through with the planned 'wear your bathrobe to work day once a week'. Fuck it, back to making Rev. Eds video

i'd love to grow a beard but i just can't abide it - too itchy. i've tried a few times but it drove me crazy.

some feller is meant to come up to my neck of the woods and do an official photo shoot, recreating scenes from the film with me and some amigos. but i can't pull off the dude look with no facial hair. maybe i'll have to be donny.
I'll tell you what I'm blathering about...

If we set the bar (or is that b'ar) at my length of beard, I think you'd all have to wait a couple of years to join me as the only official Dude :)

Dudes and Beards is a topic that my learned friend Rev. Klaus brought up some time ago, and for the last 18 months I've been meaning to write up my article "You and Your Hair - A Spiritual Journey".  But, it's one that requires time, motivation and inspiration to get down just right.  It's going to be an overview of hair in religion and spirituality and what hair (or the lack of it) can mean for the soul.

For example, if you take the Buddhist approach, hair is a distraction from higher things, so to make sure you have none is a way to greater spirituality and further enlightenment.  Conversely, several other religions promote and require the growth of hair.  So, it's a personal choice, depending on your own Dudely way, is the upshot.  Oh man, was that a... err... what spoiler was that??

You have to wash it Dude. Use shampoo. My beard is often complimented for being so soft, the lady friends appreciate it that way.
