Oh, a friend of Maude's.

The friend with the cleft asshole?

That is an excellent article, man. I love it when a movie can be enjoyed simply but also has some depth for those who dig such things. "Abide" does not equal "shallow". Quite the contrary, the Dudes of history, Lao Tzu for example, often retreated from the world because of it's shallowness. Now if only more STAR WARS fans comprehended the Joseph Campbell connection...

Perhaps a bit of history needs to be explained to that generation. Still, I think that some of them can find Dudeism interesting, as we have a generation that goes outside the standard class struggle and lives more in cyberreality. That means they hear about eleven dimensions, energy, yoga and other stuff of this kind, even if they no longer have what would be called a proper guru. Just look what recent blockbusters are about, like 'Doctor Strange' with Cumberbatch. A lot of New Age things.
If you think about yuppie-ish people - well, they may be interested in something else. But esoteric courses are still present on Udemy, together with Excel courses.

I am something in the middle. An old millenial if you like.

8 year olds Dude
