Title: Domestic Violence My Own Experience.
Post by: meekon5 on February 27, 2014, 07:18:45 AM
I shared this on Facebook but felt I should share it here to.

From the Guardian today:

Domestic violence puts 10,000 at high risk of death or serious injury (http://www.theguardian.com/society/2014/feb/26/domestic-violence-risk-death-injury-police).

As an ex beaten husband I object to the bias of this article. It is not only women and children who suffer this type of abuse.
My wife used to beat and kick me (she was trained in tae kwon do), she threw a stereo at me and attacked me with a serrated edge knife.
It is not just the physical violence (this can be endured), it is the mental torture that is the biggest problem.

This is from my blog on the subject:

Performance (http://meekon5.blogspot.co.uk/2008/08/performance.html).
