Title: hello there
Post by: the void on July 08, 2008, 05:48:00 PM
Hello I'm a french fan of the big Lebowsky (it's perhaps the reason why I'll write so bad in english).

I've got some natural bases of the Dudeism : I don't look to much after my appearence even if I'm Monitor in a college),  , last tim I saw the face of the hairdresser, I ... I don't remember, man, probably last year, or the one before perhaps... hey which year is it? I don't shave before one or two weeks, walk with sandals when the time permits it.
Look, I never care with my friends' opinion, because that's their opinion, who am I to say they're wrong?
I even hang around with a Walter-like friend...

Actually, the thing is, ..., I was looking for a waistcoat he wears in the film. The one in wool. It's something fucking cool!

Personally, no, I ain't got Kaluah, I have not found a bottle in my town, but I don't despair.

I often drink beer, but not the watery-thing which is the cheapest, I prefer beers which have taste, some which are not known by many people, trong beers, beers with honey-flavour, cherry-flavour, or blackbery-flavour, or Irish beers, which are some of the best of all, and for the best, abbayes-beer.

Water is a good thing too, and it's cheap  ;D

I was vegetarian for 13 years but now, like one month ago, i have to eat some meat because the doctor told me, i never take vitamins and that wasn't good, i eat a couple of times, but now i wanna leave it again.
Title: Re: hello there
Post by: Turtle on July 22, 2008, 07:15:28 PM
Ahh, yuck, I couldn't eat meat after 13 years, I would vomit.
Its been 10 years for me, except that I eat fish, so I cheat.

In the beginning I got a little weak too, but then I learned
the right way to eat:
You gotta load up on protein, eat a lot of soy products, tofu dishes,
beans, spinach, etc., and even a protein shakes and protein bars are very good too.
A multi-vitamin is good to take also.

You really have to look at the ingredients of what you buy and pay
attention and replace that protein that you miss from not eating meat.

Don't give up Dudette! You did it for 13 years for a reason right?!

Abide.

Hey new shit has come to light. My light anyway. The blonde thug is played by Mark Pellegrino - the same actor that played the abusive ex husband of Dexter's girlfriend in the TV show Dexter. Which is an awesome show, by the way. As far as serial killers go, Dexter is about as Dudeish as they come. That's not saying much, of course. Still, great show.

Not that Waldo knew that of course. Or did he? Maybe he was an uber-troll. Nah - face it, there's no connection.

I saw Dexter a couple of times, is very good, the actor Michael C. Hall is the same in "Six feet under" another great tv show.
And yes Turtle i can't see a literal connection too. :D

And Turtle, let's not forget, let's not forget that fish , especially commercially raised are loaded with antibiotics and shit

Venison, harvested from the wild..eggs from your own chickens, veggies, without chemicals from your own garden, fish caught in unspoiled waters, and let's not forget, let's not forget, oat sodas brewed with your own clean well water...If you will it

Yo I was on holydays so I couldn t follow what u said.

San Pellegrino is Italian Water. In France, Water is more cheap. San P is for rich people. For the equivalent of 4$ (3,50 euros), you can buy perhaps 4 or 5 gallons of mineral water.

Uh just a question, but "In and Out" burgers : they choose themselves the name? seems like burgers you can swallow... and reject, they go in, they go out..... sorry :P

Void....I think its a reference to the legendary American fast food/drive-thru type restaurant which, some would argue, is the greatest accomplishment of our beautifully vainglorious culture.

The "In and Out" would refer to the speed in which you get your food (not a suggestion of a digestive process), either inside or through the drive-thru, it is also very possible that its a modern day remnant (assuming 1991 is modern) of the old Drive-In Burger Joints where you pull up and a cute waitress in rollerskates takes your order from your car.
Possible.
