As a metaphor of life; what ties YOUR room together? Is it music, beer, helping your lady friend conceive, man, or bowling, hitting up cash machines for a hundred dollars, burning a J?
Thoughts, fellow dudes?
Probably learning. Being fascinated by this durned human comedy.
Right now my room is tied together by a deep and inescapable rut.
I still have my joys. Playing music for instance.
But most times all I want to do is veg out when I have free time so I haven't even enjoyed my hobbies much.
It's a grind.
Get up at 4AM drive and hour to work come home and crack a beer and fall asleep in the recliner.
Live for the weekend when I get to sleep in the morning.
But you know, you gotta feed the monkey.
Or more correctly feed the kids and pay the mortgage and buy Christmas presents and sports gear and new sneakers etc etc etc.
